There are up to 3 required books depending on the certification. Home Study Students are responsible for ordering their books. Once Home Study Students will receive their HTA Online Classroom’s sign-on information, they will be links directly to Amazon for each book. Students can expect to pay approximately $35 or less for the books together. Each book is also available in digital format which will be approximately $25. Note that you do not have to have your books to get started. Module 1 (Week 1) does not require your books. This allows you to get a jump on your assignments before receiving your books. Once you sign up for the course, you will be directed to a page Registration Page and Payment Agreement Form (for Payment Options) to complete. Once we have received these completed forms, you will be sent a User Id and Password with 24 hours (usually less) to access the HTA Online Classroom. This Classroom houses all of the assignments, forms, audio, etc. and links to your books.

For the students enrolling in the tele-class, books will be sent 2 days before the class starts to the address provided on the registration form.  On-site students will receive their books on the day of training.  

The tele-classes were designed to be completed in 8 weeks. Home study students are encourages to finish within 10 weeks. However, the choice is theirs. The On-site class is a 7 hour, all day class which usually is scheduled for a Saturday. There is required follow up assignments for onsite class.

Yes. Each graduate receives a certificate indicating that they have successfully completed a comprehensive Christian coaching program and that they are more than capable of coaching members of the Body of Christ as they seek to live a fulfilled and more abundant life. Each person who completes the Christian Life Coach/HIScoach™ program will receive 2 certifications, Certified Christian Life Coach and Certified HIScoach™ designation.

Yes. All we ask is that you pay the difference between the two. For example, let’s say that you enroll in the home study program today and finish the program in 8 weeks and you decide you would prefer the comradery of a group via telephone or in-person. You would pay the difference between the home study program and the tele-class or onsite.

Yes, we are accredited by CPD which supports the holistic commitment of professionals towards the enhancement of personal skills and proficiency throughout their careers.  CPD aligns with the vision of the HIScoach Training Academy to not just offer coaching certifications but other training to help those of the faith-based community in the areas of personal development and professional development.

To determine what type of training is in alignment with God’s vision, we encourage those seeking training to answer the following questions 1) where will you be using your skills, 2) who are called to serve, and 3) what standards, principles, and viewpoint will you use to support individuals from.

We strongly encourage individuals to pray before making any decisions.  

You will not be required to complete another class and you will be able to hit the ground running once you have successfully completed the program.

All students have direct access to business coaching/mentor for up to 1 year. Students have access to an Online Resource Center and to our private HTA Facebook Group.
